@jabrown0407 Thx for your input. Truly appreciate it.
I’m a bit confused, easily….soo…
I was on a 200mg shot every 3 weeks for 4 months, when we stopped Kevzara.
No side symptoms etc. Last shot was 2/22/2026.
Would you mind reevaluating with this info in a more simplified way.
(I’m easily confused with half-life etc.)
Th K you

There is no simplified way to explain it other than to say the effects of Kevzara will wear off in a few weeks after stopping the injections. Then it depends if PMR stays in remission after the injections are stopped and when Kevzara isn't in your system anymore.

Half-life is only part of it. There is also something known as being at "steady state"

"7.7 Biological Half-Life
The half-life will depend on the administered concentration. At 200 mg every 2 weeks, half-life is up to 10 days in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) at steady state. At 150 mg every 2 weeks, half-life is up to 8 days in patients with RA at steady state. After the last steady state dose of 150 and 200 mg, the time to reach nondetectable concentration is 28 and 43 days, respectively."
