Finishing Evenity, now what?

@oopsiedaisy do you know how 3 rounds of Reclast was determined? How could it be determined in advance without knowing what happens to your bones after the first (and second) infusion? Will you have DEXAs or BTMs done as you go along to monitor? And what happens after the 3rd and presumably last Reclast? Drug holiday? Thanks.

@cat1203 That’s a good question and I don’t have the answer. I will have to ask my doctor.

I’m hoping to take a break after the 3 years of Reclast. My next DEXA won’t be until 2028.

My endocrinologist does check my CTX levels so I suspect I’ll have another test after the Reclast to see if it’s acceptable. It’s 108 now after the Evenity and it was around 350 when I started Evenity. That was after six months of Tymlos and Forteo, too.
