@pattig09 Thank you so much! I haven’t been told about this by any of my doctors! I’ve been to the Long Covid Clinic here in Chicago and he told me I would never get my taste or smell back. He is the Chief of Neuro and Infectious Disease at Northwestern’s Long Covid Clinic. He was no help! Thanks for the link, I will read it. Again, thanks for your help!

Here in Mayo group, people find stimulation of smell and taste olfactory epithelium for the regeneration processes of restoring senses using scents: essential oils with things like mint, lavender, pine, etc. And, some get the 'kick start' from the nicotine interrupts which grab the ACE receptors and block the covid spikes from taking hold. So it is exciting to learn doctors have had success with a patch on the nose with 'insulin' or rubbing the gel on the nose!
