Hi @sewsforfun ~ It is a relief I'm grateful for with all of the other pains I'm struggling with. I'm not sure about surgery, it's just what I expect the neurosurgeon will say because of the danger of paralysis where the nerves are compressed as they exit the spinal canal. I see him on Tuesday next week. I'm thinking it will be a laminectomy at minimum, but may include discectomy and decompression. I'm sure it all depends on how he interprets my MRI and my pain. I've got sciatica that's trying hard to flare again despite the epidural I had a week ago. I'll have a better idea after I meet with him.
