I strongly recommend that you not take any other drug (OTC or prescription) or supplement with your current medications unless you discuss it with your pharmacist and get their OK first. That includes CBD, THC, as well as Kratom. Since Kratom is thought to be opioid like in its addiction properties, I won't try it myself until it has been studied more and we are sure of its safety. I recommend that you not take it at this point either.

I know the information about Marijuana was all bad at first, but over the years it became widely used by so many people that the fear tactics were disproved. I know that Kratom is compounded in other countries so we don't know what else is in the dose or what level of dose you are taking. I think there is no "magic" pill that will relieve all our pain. A combination of exercise if possible, manipulation, massage, heat, ice, topical salves, meditation, acupuncture, etc. along with pain and antidepressant medications are the best ways to relieve pain. Now,due to medical advances we can be DNA tested to find the best medicine for our gene type and metabolism. This is truly remarkable to me, and I will be requesting this test at my next doctor's appointment this month.

Your willingness to try new things is commendable, just proceed cautiously please. Hoping for effective, safe pain relief for you.

Ok thanks Gail I wasn’t planning on ordering the kratom but since it was something I’d never heard of I was curious about it , that is good that we can be tested by our dna what kind of Dr does that ? I know by experience that I can’t take some of those opioids they either make me sick or make me feel weird. Chiropractor doesn’t help much and the shots didn’t help , I do take antidepressants, I think it helps me in some way , my back needs rods but at my age I don’t want to do it , I wear a brace that helps a lot and stretch and tramadol gabapentin muscle relaxants so If I don’t overdo it I can live with this . Thanks for the recommendations

Gail I agree. I just wrote a long report on Kratom and Hemp. My doctor knows I use these items. He also knowd as soon as the Senate in Texas opens their eyes maijuana will be approved. I love our governir. But I think a lot of Republicans will vote Democrat to get the conservative off their butts. These prescriptions are deadly. In the 30 and 40 people did not the junk they are pushing into our bodies. Tell your doctor what you are going to try. It was my primary Dr in Oregon who approved my medical Marijuana.
