P1NP is a significant bone marker for bone building activity.
CTX is a significant marker for bone breakdown activity. ( sentitive test which must be done early in morning 6-7 am, after 48 hours of no collegen, no biotin, no bone broth)
These are the primary Bone Turnover markers. (BTM)
You must read about these and understand them in order to moniter osteoporosis.
Each person has a unque baseline for these; this start point should be establihed before medication is taken; then as you began a medication there is a comparision in how you respond - or if you didnt repond. This is very important info.
