I just had my TKR April 6, '26, and live in a house that requires my descending and climbing stairs. This is what I noticed exacerbating my opposite hip / buttocks pain. Severe sharp pain, I told my PT and next visit he had me doing two new different exercises to relieve the pain.. And it has worked exceptionally. I'm off all pain killers (have a mental aversion to taking ANY opioids so found a non-opioid pain killer called JOURNAVX for the first two weeks post surgery. Talk to your PT if you're still dealing with issues like this. My PT fixed it before my Dr. even was told....
