I guess everybody is different, like the different strains of kratom, but I was taking 80mg of oxycontin & was getting a Buzz, which was not wanted or needed, Thank You for your response!!

Allison snow. Marield65 here. I also take opioids (Vicodin) and never got high. I never heard about getting a high on Vicodin until I connected to this group. They do help my pain but I don't like taking them but I am going to leave well enough alone. But thanks for another great idea. Marie

Amen! I've been a "chronic pain patient" for just over 15 years and I can honestly say that I have never taken any medications that made me high or made me want to take more cuz they made me "feel good". I had Fentanyl patches and Tramadol. They did a good job of relieving the pain I have. I've been told that if you actually have pain the medications do what they are supposed to. If you don't have pain and are taking them as a recreational drug then it makes you feel high and works differently.

That's the difference between addiction and dependence. Imo

Same with me. I am keeping a log of each time I take 1/2 to 10 ml.
I keep my prescription bottle hidden so that nobody has access to them
