@mkoch I had only been on the patch for a year, but given my issue the possible side effects out weigh the benefits in my case, and in my opinion. Thanks for the reply. Your information helps me be more educated about it.

@lovestocook: Good luck with your forthcoming surgery. I've had a hysterectomy and two mastectomies and the craniotomy was easier. (Of course, that's just my experience but just trying to say don't be overly fearful about the craniotomy.)
