I believe it was Greenpeace, and I don’t have any personal issues with them, I work with them. That said, they’ve been criticized for presenting claims that aren’t fully accurate, are overly simplified, or extreme.
They’ve also put workers in risky situations during protest actions, and internally there are sometimes disagreements, with messaging reflecting the views of whoever has the most influence at the time, even if those views aren’t always correct.
They’re not a group of scientists, but rather environmental activists. That’s not necessarily a problem, but it does mean they are not in a position to do or verify scientific testing in a strict sense.
So I’d take what they say with a grain of salt.
