Hi everyone. OP here. I had my surgery yesterday and am now back at the Airbnb with my amazing wife. I’ll post a full report soon so people can reference it.

Know that the journey is almost certainly easier in reality than it is in your mind. And that nurses are angels. And most of all:
You can and will get through this.

Thank you for all of your kindness and support.

glad you are through the surgery. Make sure you get and and walk. Few steps here and there and as you feel more comfortable increase the distance. This will help you eliminate the bloating after the surgery and start to strengthen your pelvic muscles.
If you have lymph fluid left over after the surgery, walking will also help get this absorbed faster.
I am 4 weeks out of the surgery myself (RARP, with 13 lymph nodes spliced, seminal vesicles removed and 30% of the nerve bundles removed).
Kegels, kegels, kegels, but only 2-3 weeks after the surgery.
Right now drink lots of water.

Best of luck with your recovery.

Sta strong and be positive!
