Hoping you're seeing a nephrologist!
Has your Dr discussed these finds w you?
These finds mean they don't know if the 3.3 mass is cancer or not. The parenchymal loss on the other side means your kidney isnt filtering as well as it used to.
It easy to get scared. Been there, done that. Unless you're at a center of Excellence like Mayo, Stanford, Cleveland, Sloan Kettering, I personally would get a second opinion.
Sending hugs and bestest of wishes! This is coming from someone who was told, at Mayo, my left kidney would likely be removed, then the weekend before we flew out, the surgeon called to tell me he believed he had a 95% chance of saving my kidney and thats exactly what he did! Still have 90% of that kidney and function is great after 1-1/2 years.

@gangcarotid1 I’m not following anyone at this time. Back in January I was told to not worry about it at all by my primary even though the ct report said to follow the mass protocol. Because it was concerning back in January that’s when it was 1cm as of last week it is now 3.3 cm. My primary called and said that’s concerning and they want to follow with an mri. I told the drs office I don’t want to see who I saw back in January. Since they had said what they did. Your situation would have done gave me a heart attack I’m so glad that everything is good for you now. Back story of my left kidney I’m thinking my kidney is being affected like that because my aorta is torn. Which where it is torn at is leading into the branch of arteries of the left kidney. Which is another scary thing.
