I tried Boniva years ago, and I had the same effect, felt like I had been run over by a truck !! I have been on Prolia for 5 years, no side effects. I am now taking Jubbonti, last 3 doses and no side effects. I am concerned about problems with my jaw. I had a molar pulled last year. It had cracked a second time after a repair. The dentist wanted to do a root canal and put in a peg ? I chose to have it pulled but there is a small fragment left. I am concerned I may have further problems. My jaw has shifted slightly. I am 79 years old.
