@abbigail89 Be your own best advocate and you may need more tests or doctors. I assume you are seeing a urologist or hopefully a nephrologist. Keep advocating for yourself and testing until you are sure you and the doctor have an answer,,not just an opinion! Good luck getting to the bottom of this!

Has your Dr discussed these finds w you?
These finds mean they don't know if the 3.3 mass is cancer or not. The parenchymal loss on the other side means your kidney isnt filtering as well as it used to.
It easy to get scared. Been there, done that. Unless you're at a center of Excellence like Mayo, Stanford, Cleveland, Sloan Kettering, I personally would get a second opinion.
Sending hugs and bestest of wishes! This is coming from someone who was told, at Mayo, my left kidney would likely be removed, then the weekend before we flew out, the surgeon called to tell me he believed he had a 95% chance of saving my kidney and thats exactly what he did! Still have 90% of that kidney and function is great after 1-1/2 years.
