Any suggestions to help with blood bruising on arms?

I started getting bruise marks on my arms and upper legs after I started taking a daily baby aspirin after having a TIA. I have to continue with the aspirin but will see a hematologist in May. Yes I'm old, 81, but I wonder if something else is going on.

@beatricefay As we age our skin is thinner and easier to bruise or tear. Aspirin is a blood thinner as well as prescription blood thinners for people who’ve had strokes or heart disease. My poor dad used to get so upset when he’d nick his arm. We keep a lot of bandaids handy. 😊
