I tried the Embr Wave 2 for a week. Wore it non-stop 24 hrs a day, minus the charging time. It did not provide any meaningful relief for me. There was a subtle "oh that's nice" type of sensation but it did nothing to slow, stop or reduce the duration and intensity of hot flashes. I have these flashes non-stop pretty much off and on 24 hrs a day so the only thing that work for me is a box fan right in front of my face. Ha.

I’ve used the Embr Wave Device for about five years. If you have really severe hot flashes, you really have to hit the button very quickly when you start feeling them. I get pretty mild ones now and know when they’re starting to come on so I hit the button and seldom need to use the fan.

I found it Helped the most at night. I would wake up with the sheet wet under me and also find it difficult to sleep As the flashes would come and go at night. The night mode really worked for me. Pretty much stopped that problem. Now, five years later, I still use it at night when I start to feel more than one hot flash waking me up.

One of the biggest problems is that configuring the device is unclear. I have instructions that tell people how to configure it optimally. I ask those that buy them to request that information so they can get it to work at least as well as it can.

People have found that it really only works in about 2/3 of the cases, The other third people don’t get any help at all. I do suspect that is partly because they just don’t know how to configure it.
