I am single, 75 yrs old and live alone in an RV community. I am having a brain scan done in 2 days in hopes of a determination of what's going on in my brain. Dementia is very prominent on my mother's side of the family and I became very concerned several months ago when I became disoriented while driving home. It scared me so much when I realized that I also didn't remember where I had just been. Long story short is that my memory issues have worsened and it's scary for me. My only relative is my 50 yrs old son and I do not want to burden him, yet if I am diagnosed with MCI I have no clue what to do. Any suggestions?
