I don’t know where or how to start a new topic conversation si I’m posting here.I have some mild to moderate osteoporosis in my spine, femoral neck, and hipsAnd also degenerative discs L4 and L5 mostly. I came across a therapy called DRX decompression disc therapy. Is it safe to do in my condition? Does it help replenish the liquid cushion between discs! Does it fix it permanently or when stopping the therapy it goes back to the prior condition?Any information would be appreciated.

@meri8181 I visited a place back in 2022 called Disc Centers of America. It was run by a chiropractor. He said decompression therapy could solve all my problems. Not covered by insurance and would cost $9000. He had a finance company all set to help me out. Just sign on the dotted line. Anything sound fishy? It sure did to me... too many red flags. I passed. Be very careful if you see any such red flags.

@meri8181 - wanted to let you know I've moved your post here so that you could talk to others talking about a very similar topic to yours:

Hoping that here you can chat with @artcantell @swamplady @willgranger1127 and others, who may have some insights on the safety of this therapy with your osteoporosis, how it impacts the liquid cushion between the discs and whether it fixes things permanently.
