Hello @wn77 and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I am sorry that you are having uncomfortable symptoms since your surgery. My first thought would be to contact your doctor's office to see if they have any suggestions for treating this symptom.
For many of us who have had surgery involving the digestive tract, symptoms of fullness and other discomfort seem to be the norm. On Connect, we have a discussion group where we discuss the best way to eat (in terms of food quantity, meal timing, and meal types) that works best for us after surgical procedures. Here is a link to the discussion, How Do I Eat After Digestive Tract Surgery: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/how-do-i-eat-after-digestive-tract-surgery/
Did your surgeon provide any instructions after your surgery?

@wn77 possibly still have swelling. I read that it takes months to heal after this surgery.
