Had mine in 2019. The first weeks were aweful, then up to three months were rough but showed progress through PT--at first I cried, too. But at 6 months I was on vacation and walkking more than 6 miles/day--I often took one meloxicam in the morning then. Hang in there, do your PT, rest a lot. Everything they tell you and whatever they tell you not to do yet, don't do. You will. Best wishes.
