@dollyjaneprenzelyou breath in and hold it for 4 seconds and breath out and hold it for 4 seconds. It is simple but you do this for a while until you feel calmer.

Thanks. That has been recommended, and I have done it. My problem is that it does not last as long as I would like. i.e., if I do in for twenty minutes and stop, I soon feel the anxiety building again. BUT, I will use it from now on to control my anxiety when I am, for example, sitting in the doctor’s office. And I will recommend it to a friend who is undergoing difficult chemo! Thanks for the reminder.
