Oral Lichen Planus

I have been dealing with loss of taste and smell going on 4 years now. I noticed that after the Covid virus, my teeth felt like they were loosening and I had several raised bumps on the back of my tongue. My teeth feel fine now and back to normal, but now I have these white, lacey swirls on the inside of my cheeks and around those raised bumps on my tongue. Is this Oral Lichen Planus? I’ve seen several doctors and none of them said I had this, which I’m actually not surprised of. Our medical people are not doing their jobs!

@lkirnbauer: The white lacey swirls seem "suspect" to me. If you can find someone to do a biopsy, that would give you a definitive diagnosis...or not. This OLP stuff is truly annoying and frustrating. A dermatologist did a biopsy of my lip which was positive, and by association, the OLP diagnosis was confirmed. I'm now seeing an oral medicine specialist at a University hospital. Not making much progress even with the specialists involved. Good luck!
