You are in a situation where the AUS devices that are available could make a major difference in your life. They connect right to the urethra and stop it from leaking, Unlike the ProACT Device, which sits next to the urethra and presses against it to stop leakage.
Hopefully the sling works for you long term.
Did you have radiation before the ProACT was put in? If so, you were not among the 10%, You are among the group that was definitely not supposed to have that device put in.
