I had surgery 20 years ago. My mild incontinence got a little worse (from 1 to 2 or 3 pads a day) as I got older, so I thought I would 'improve my quality of life' with this procedure. I should have left well enough alone and gone to pull-ups. Maybe the worst decision of my life. But I am sure it is effective for the majority. I always seem to be in the 10% of failures.
