@abosier65 That' really sad to hear. Yes, the opioid crisis claimed many lives. I don't know if you saw the series, Dopesick, with Michael Keaton, but it focuses pretty well on that issue. He was really brave to do all that physical stuff with a SCS. I think my downfall was to take up skiing again... the very thing that put me in chronic pain in the first place.

@heisenberg34 the short docuseries on Netflix called "Painkiller" was basically the story of our life after scs. We had a great 401k, savings and he had life insurance. Life insurance lapsed, 85k left in a once 650,000 401k. I went from living on 300k a year to 25k a year. By the time he died I was too disabled to work full time at the law firm. We lost everything. Me & my kids lost their future, college money gone, our security in our home, our house but most of all we lost HIM...our greatest gift from God.
