@maryelle I think it is best to go on website for the drug and look up all possible side effects. And that's what a doctor should advise. Mayo clinic regular website and other good sites may add some info to the list. doctors are best at telling you most common side effects but they don't usually tell you every possible one. The website will list every possible side effect, even if unlikely. The doctor may be good at telling you frequency (i.e. likelihood) of side effects, in their clinical experience, and your own risk/benefit analysis, in their opinion.
