Hi Nicole,

Sorry that you are going through this. As others have said, symptoms of "incomplete evacuation" (meaning you don't get all the stool out at once) and mucus in stool (if that's where you think it is originating from) are signs of bowel inflammation and can be a sign of more serious bowel disorders. I urge you to stay calm, keep paying attention to how you react to foods and if you can find any other patterns, but to aggressively and proactively get a GI doctor to listen to your symptoms and check you for diseases.

@gboi thank you for responding. The mucus hasn’t really been in my stool, but it’s been hanging down from my front or back after urinating or having a bowel movement. Sometimes I’ll just urinate, and there’ll be either what looks like mucus hanging down from me, or something white and kind of curly in the toilet bowl.
