Yes! My doctor prescribed Robaxin (a muscle relaxer) and Gabepentin (for nerve pain). I took them at different times until I didn't need the medications any more (about 12 weeks). The muscle tightness was pretty intense.

Welcome @ladygardener , I'm glad that you are feeling better. Pain like that can be debilitating. How long ago was your surgery? Do you still have twinges of pain, or is that all resolved?

I had robotic surgery nine months ago. The stiffness and pressure have desipated quite a bit, but for me, is still there. I don’t take medication for this and haven’t for more than 7 months. It takes time; be well!
