Hi Tim and Dana. I’m Paula. My husband is going to Mayo Arizona tomorrow 4-11-26 for a Heart Transplant evaluation . I am a bit nervous. I have not spoken to anyone yet about the process, my travel arrangements. Just nothing. I will be just patient with the process and just preparing to travel when they tell me. Tim and Dana I love your stories. They have already lighted up my spirits. Can we continue to chat. I would like that a lot.

@pjw51 Hi Paula, So sorry I didn't see your post. I'm happy to share more about the process. I might mention that the best way to get a persons attention is to use their handle. I see you have started the process Last Friday. Your probably deep into it now but Ill be more than happy to share my experience during that time and any questions you may have. Also if you reply to this message I will also see your post. Looking forward to hearing more about His journey.

Hi @pjw51 and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! It is understandable why you are nervous about your husband’s heart transplant scheduled for tomorrow. You mention being patient with the process, and I imagine that is must more easily said than done. Hang in there!

I am interested in your journey and hope you do come back and provide an update after your husbands evaluation. I am curious and have so many questions…..If you are comfortable sharing more, what has led up to this appointment, and how did you get to Mayo Clinic? And….how are YOU doing?
