@jlharsh I haven’t really had any other symptoms, like the ones you mentioned. When I had my cycle last month, on maybe the last day of my period there was bloody mucus hanging down from me. I don’t know if it was in my front or rear.
I haven’t really noticed my stool be coated in mucus, but there’s been maybe a few times since late last year that it’s looked like there was mucus on it or like something slimy was on it. Usually that’s not the case though.

I don’t know of anything that changed in my diet.

@nicole19 You are observant, and noticing things like you mention will be be important to share with your doctor. I agree with @lylii that it will be important your doctor knows you feel you cannot get all the stool out.

You mention your cycle and mucus hanging down the last day of your period. It will also be valuable information to share whether or not you notice other changes with your cycles. I’m not sure if this will help but I did a search from the Women’s Health Support Group for vaginal discharge. There are quite a few discussions and comments that popped up:
