I am almost 3 months out since I stopped Cipro. Basic tasks are still very painful. Live in a rural area. I was assured after stopping the medication I'd be better in 3 or 4 weeks with no ill effects. I am now told it could be 6 months or longer before I recover. I am not so optimistic. I had multiple pre-existing conditions that I found out after the fact state it should not be prescribed to people like me. To those out their suffering from the toxic effects of this medication I hope you recover fast.

I took CIPRO. I was a dance teacher. Within 3 weeks, I could barely walk, scooting my left foot forward and dragging my right. The pain was excruciating. I bit the bullet and flew cross country to Los Angeles (with help of a wheelchair) to visit Dr. Ghalili (who himself suffered the adverse effects). Within 4 days of IV detox I was walking again. Two weeks later after completing detox, I was able to return to my life. I am dancing again ☺️
