@vmcgrantham I've suffered with chronic dehydration for well over 30+ years (due to unknown toxin exposure while serving in the AF). Many other issues due to same exposure but recently I upped my potassium intake and my dehydration improved. I'm slowly increasing so not to shock my body but the improvment has been noticeable. My chronic dehydration has landed me in ER's so many times over the years, I've lost count.
So now, am hopeful. A certain DR Berg on YT has a lot to say about Potassium. Look him up. After reviewing his findings (2nd source verified), I saw a connection with Potassium deficiency and side effects of Forteo. Side effects of Potassium deficit include constipation.
I'm on another protocol for certain small bowel problems and that has caused constipation. Since adding more potassium that has improved for me and I don't seem to need the Miralax now. Again, this is my personal experience. Only time will tell if it helps with the Forteo therapy.

Apparently, potassium is also needed to help transport calcium to the bones from the blood. Could this help avoid hypercalcemia??

@inlimbo i’m sorry to hear about all of the stuff you’re going through. It’s really sad. My daughter was in the Navy. She got cancer from the burn pits. She passed away back in 2024 this month actually April 22 and all the crap that I watched her go through is horrible. I can’t even imagine what you’re going through. I hope you get better. I hope things get better for you. My prayers are with you.
