On letrozole for one year now after invasive lobular cancer diagnosis and bilateral mastectomy. Stage 1A no lymph node involvement and clean margins with no need for chemo since oncotype score was 22. Have stiff joints and hot flashes but I try to exercise a lot including 3 days of weights and yoga and walking and cycling for my knees. I am 71 and hate being on the leteozole. I have atrial tachycardia and get more afib alerts now than before I started taking AI meds. My cardiologist added Lesortan and zetia to ease the burden on my heart and to keep my LDL low. I didn’t tolerate statins. Since I had arythmia issues before my cancer diagnosis I can’t tell if leteozole made them worse. I was told I only have to be on them another four years but there are days were I wonder if the side effects will get worse. My knees are the sorest and stiff. I get so tired and that is new. I am an active person and hate feeling tired from the time I wake up. I guess we have no choice but to stay the course and try to keep moving. I do believe motion is lotion and it helps to move, breathe and stretch and eat healthy. Best of luck to you.
