@cphip Thank you! My husband and I on the same page about continuing with Teriparatide.
Yes, to VitD and calcium, magnesium, etc. The surgeon was surprised how well and quickly my femur healed. I've been doing DHEA for a few years now. I think the ONLY reason my femure broke was due to my gut issues (courtesy Uncle Sam ANd Alendronate), malabsorption. Yes, I have a cocktail of craziness!!
Now, I just have to convince my Dr. Now that I know what to exepct from the first 30 minutes I feel prepared to deal with it. I'm close to 70 but in 2014 my bones were that age, so 8 years ago.
Prolia and Reclast are OFF the table for me based on research and other patient experiences.

FWIW, the pain experienced was bone pain and was directly targeted to the places that showed up in DXA scan as being weak. I really think the medicine went straight to the places it needed to. Does that sound a little crazy??

@inlimbo i’m on Forteo haven’t been on it long. I’m gonna say about four or five months. The only problem I have with Forteo is I get leg cramps and sometimes I get like flu like symptoms but that’s about it. I did get told that to take vitamin D vitamin K with boron along with some magnesium, not too much magnesium, and it helps with the cramping in the legs and stuff, but the vitamin D, K help with the calcium that you have to take to go directly to the bonus out of your bloodstream. My doctor wanted me to go on rec class, but because I had problems with my kidneys in the past, I have to be careful. She said that was better than the Forteo on the kidneys, but I was told opposite I contacted Forteo itself and rec class and no kidneys is a bad thing on class so I cannot have that at all so I’m just doing this other stuff. I don’t know anything about DHEA could tell me what that is supposed to do. I don’t know anything about it

@inlimbo Wow if that’s why it hurt! All you’ve been getting is crazy so go with it!
