Yes, to VitD and calcium, magnesium,etc. The surgeon was surprised how well and quickly my femur healed. I've been doing DHEA for a few years now. I think the ONLY reason my femure broke was due to my gut issues (courtesy Uncle Sam ANd Alendronate), malabsorption. Yes, I have a cocktail of craziness!!
Now, I just have to convince my Dr. Now that I know what to exepct from the first 30 minutes I feel prepared to deal with it. I'm close to 70 but in 2014 my bones were that age, so 8 years ago.
Prolia and Reclast are OFF the table for me based on research and other patient experiences.
FWIW, the pain experienced was bone pain and was directly targeted to the places that showed up in DXA scan as being weak. I really think the medicine went straight to the places it needed to. Does that sound a little crazy??
