@jeffmarc Good find, Jeff. But it does not report any drop in PSA’s during the trial - just tumor volume - and the men all underwent prostatectomies anyway.
Very similar to the flaxseed study, which also showed drops in certain tumor markers, verified by surgical pathology.
But at the very least, it might be an alternative to systemic ADT before treatment in localized cases, which isn’t nothing, right?

I suspect they are just getting started with this Technology. So many people are put on ADT and Enzalutamide And the side effects of both can be too much for some. Being able to put on ADT and have the Enzalutamide implanted sure would save on the side effects.

Could be this is leading to people being able to be on active surveillance for a longer time.
