I live outside of Phoenix and my understanding is yes, Mayo is open to all patients, depending on insurance, etc. I'm a native Southern Californian though and I'm sure there must be excellent treatment centers/neurologists in your general area. Traveling to/from CA and AZ is not fun either.

Some options might be, as mentioned above, UCLA, perhaps UC Irvine, USC, or Cedars Sinai. Just a quick google for So Cal (are you in Southern CA?) came up with one option-
UC San Diego Health Brain Health & Memory Disorders Clinic: Features a team of neurologists and psychiatrists specializing in Alzheimer's and Lewy body dementia

Very best to you.

@jillemckeon Thank you for your information. I do realize traveling to Arizona can be a pain, but Arizona is not required to report findings to the California DMV. As I am still very able to navigate our streets and highways, and as I am still active in my husband's business, I need to be able to drive. California has a mandatory reporting clause that reports even mild dementia to the DMV, which can mean loss of mobility and potential loss of income for me.
