@zenren14 Thank you; did get in with his ENT for a second opinion, after I do the follow up I’m scheduled for on 21st. This problem is minor compared to what so many are going through now but because I have heard so much I don’t want to make the wrong decision and end up having it be worse. I’ll be honest, I’ve had cancer (metastatic melanoma) before, and lymph node removal because of it, but I have trouble thinking of a more unpleasant experience than having even that one chunk removed from my tongue. Stitches came out by the time I got home, had to go back and restitched, was never completely numbed up. The second stitches were “braided” and supposed to be ones that could stay for 30 days but they too came open by that evening. So the gaping hole was there healing for almost a month.
