@smc17 I like you had Pseudomonas last year starting with a UTI , a lung infection , a maxillary sinus infection left side and eye infection left side . I was put on Zosyn IV through PICC line for 2 wks . That if go to hospital which I opted for the former … My white count came down to normal so everyone thought I was better . Well lo and behold , I went to my ENT Fr for routine check up a few mos ago and he said this looks like it did last year so he took a culture . Came back Pseudomonas . Was referred again to infectious Disease center and put back on Zosyn for 3 weeks . I had to go every day for the nurses to clean the IV area and flush and change the liquid package and program it to the little machine that dispensed it throughout 24 hrs . So I had to sleep with O2 on one side and the Fanny pack with the med , iV pack snd the machine on the other ..all for 21 days. They just pulled the IV as another culture was done which came back “No growth” good news ! However we all who have dealt with this knows that Pseudomonas builds a biofilm around it to protect itself and becomes resistant to treatment .. so I’m praying that it’s irradiated for good .
I’m so sorry to hear about your bouts with this and then to catch RSV on top of it …let’s stay in touch and keep each other updated in case something new comes along . All the best to you .. Kay Bastasini
@smc17 What I have noticed over the past several years is we continually replace one germ with another after starting initially with MAC. And yes RSV is horrible!!! Been there done that one too!! No bueno. ( irene5)

@smc17 I am so sorry to hear what you have gone through. We all probably have our crosses but some get it worse. If I were you I would find an immunologist who would check all your immunoglobulins and who would work on improving your immunity. Also check for levels of vitd3 and b12(simple blood work) I always have low D3 now within the range but on the lower side and low B12( and had tingling/ numb feet from the big 3. I wish you get better and stronger
