I noticed it for bloody look, then rust for about 6 weeks, as well as lower volume.
Had three biopsies, Never noticed the semen being a different color.
Those side effects are always short term.
It took me 8 weeks to fully clear the blood out of my semen. Drink lots of water and ask your doctor if there's a reason you shouldn't masterbate to help clear that out. If they give you the go ahead, go get some lube and go to pound town, it helps clear that "Murder Semen/Vampire Semen". Also it's normal to have less semen post biopsy. Urology offices really should get better about that. Instead of You might notice some blood in your semen it should be Your semen will look like Edward Cullen just ejaculated.
For me, it took somewhere in the 1-2 months range.
After my perineal biopsy that included getting tissue from my seminal vesicles the brownish semen seemed to go on forever. At least a few months.
I remember semen
😜
About a month. I had 18 cores.
HI
I had my biopsy about 3 weeks ago still haven't heard back from them
The took 12 samples
Semen still brown but i also seem to have smaller amounts and no pressure
right scrotum is also swollen but its fluid build up im told leaking from stomach . can be drained but will fill up again so a little surgery will correct it
thanks for all the input guys
I had brownish semen for a year PRIOR to 12 core biopsy! Doctor and Urologist said nothing to see here cause I was in good health with PSA of only around 1 and negative DRE. Waving the BS flag, finally got an MRI , nothing there.. negative!
Further waving the flag,, I offered to pay for a biopsy… bingo… Gleason 7. Apologies from two different doctors and off to UCI for prostatectomy.

In my experience, mine only did it once, but it was red, than brownish. The day of the biospsy, my urine had some blood, but after that, never experienced again. I also had two bowel movements with blood, but that was within the first week. It should get better for you soon.
