@h2998sc Hi there, After reading your reply, I wanted to write to you as, It looks like we've gone down a similar path.
Since contracting this disease, It knocked the hell out of me. I was shocked when people close to me, pretty much 'rubbished' what I was going through. Initially I had a doctor, who told me, " There is nothing for you". I felt alone.
Now....I know I'm alone, because of what I've been through.
With every episode, my body seemed to deteriorate further. My doctor sent me to a cardiologist because of an A-Fib event I had.
I decided not to go for a second visit, as I had a load of other symptoms. It seemed every episode would start with gastrointestinal problems. I began wondering ; after such a long time if my body has been compromised. I'm reading that after a while, Long covid starts affecting bodily functions and organs.
Like I say, I've tried to isolate since October, trying not to get sick.
So far, It seems to of worked.
I've also used Colchicine for inflammation, one 0.6mg a day, (off prescription).
A Covid research doctor told me about it. It did seem to calm down the inflammation. I still had loads of other symptoms however. Then After a couple of weeks I stopped the Colchicine.
Then I began researching my other symptoms.
There's a lot of forums with information about what people have tried to relieve their symptoms. Some should be approached with trepidation. I did what I was comfortable with, not knowing what would happen.
I read there's around 20 million of us dealing with this disease.
If I'm going to be in crowds I use Dilluted Iodine / saline solution mixture, as a prophylactic, nasal & throat spay, in an attempt to prevent illness. Read that medical personnel used it during the pandemic trying to prevent contracting Covid!! and other viruses.
I found a research paper on the NIH website, about it,
Anyway all the best, with what ever you do.
