Has anyone had a femoral artery blockage opened using the arthrectomy procedure? This is a procedure using a drill on the end of the catheter to get through the blockage.

Here, you met @eckhartk. I'd like to invite @christianzane who mentioned atherectomy on Mayo Clinic Connect but not have had the procedure. Members on Connect have mentioned a laser atherectomy, but it does not sound like that is what was mentioned for you @kfpd, correct?
