My PSA has jumped around at times. I had prostatitis that I did not even know I had until a high psa 8.4 caused my urologist at the Mayo to prescribe antibiotics. I was retested about 2 months later and my psa came down to 1.2 which is more normal. I agree that with a Pirads 5 lesion it is a smart move to go ahead with the biopsy anyway even though the PSA has come down some. I will say a prayer all goes well for you.
