@bajjerfan I should add to your comment about confusing streets. Minnesota is rare in the world of street numbers in that they use for example north third street, south third street, east third avenue and west third avenue all in the same city. In addition, they may use northwest or southeast streets and numbers. One can literally be on the corner of third and third in two different areas of the city.
This whole numbers system is quite unusual for most visitors as it is not found in many other cities in the world. Apparently they lack the ability to use alphabetical names as cross streets to the numbered avenues.
