@dmshope I’m so sorry to hear about your multiple foot fractures. I’ve had two stress fractures and two stress injuries. Problems with feet affect everything. I’m wondering if you might be able to connect me with any research on this I could share with my endocrinologist? How did you learn about this issue, beyond the sensations in your feet? Did your doctor agree it was from Tymlos? My feet are feeling really stable right now at 1 year full dose ( I ramped up.) I don’t want to slide backwards.

Dear 'Sister with foot fractures' - I feel your situation immensely. I had 8 bilateral foot fractures and now a lower tibial break...
To answer your question as best I can, yes Dr agreed that I was on tymlos too long . I had orthopedic evaluation and CT scan to give evidenc that the feet were negatively effected after 22 months - as well as my own symptoms.
I encorage you to seriously consider the future course of tymlos. Your feet are good ( so were mine at 12 months). Evaluate your BTM - where is the CTX compared to your baseline - what is the ratio between CTX and P1NP ( that will usually wane after 14 months). WHat is your 12 month dexa? We are all diffeent and must be evaluated per our vulnerabilites. Tymlos must be followed upwith medication - that is dependent on so many variables. Read Great BOnes by Dr K McCormick - its a wonderful and hopeful reference. Can be a bit detailed but excellent to help you manage your journey backto stability.
