How can I cope with having level one autism?

@ellierwin Welcome to the autism support group! I see you have been posting in the epilepsy group, also.

Was your diagnosis done in a formal setting? If so, you may be eligible for some benefits. I am curious what led to testing in the first place?

Here is a link to discussing different levels of autism, from Autism Speaks: https://www.autismspeaks.org/levels-of-autism They have a great amount of information on their website that you might find helpful. How are you feeling about this diagnosis? I am also on the autism spectrum, diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome. It seems now they call that Level One! It is my personal belief that we can experience life on a spectrum of reactions, and not everyday do we feel we fit that definition of different levels. We are still unique individuals.

@gingerw there isn't an Asperger's anymore. It's now autism spectrum, everyone is in different places on the spectrum.
