My liver enzymes spiked during the first 3-6 months on abiraterone. My doc said this was typical and expected and that they would return to normal in a short time, which they did. Were there other reasons that your doctor didn’t want to wait to see if the liver function would return to normal?

@nikolai57 the enzymes were 3.5 times over the safe ranges. Doctor said that point was requiring removing the medication till it was understood what was elevating the enzyme. One week after stopping they declined roughly 30 percent.
