anyone have physio for tmj??

@tisme I've had massage for tempomandibular joint (TMJ) pain. I've had TMJ problems off and on over the years. The time I went for massage was following a new crown placed by my dentist and this slight change, even with all the adjustments to my "bite" and with the crown set off terrible pain for me. The massage therapist I saw was trained to work inside the mouth (she wore gloves and this wass before COVID). I went to two treatments and the massage was not pleasant but it really helped a lot. My massage therapist was trained and certified in neuromuscular massage.

@naturegirl5 that is what the physio did to me all down my back that neuromuscular stuff, but the idea of pushing my jaw to one side then the other worries me I am afraid I will do damage
