Hello @stephenluptak

Many of us who post on Connect have had similar stories of being misdiagnosed or misunderstood by doctors and we can understand how frustrating it is. I know that you must feel frustrated because of all of the conflicting diagnoses you have received. I can only add to what has already been said that a second opinion would be your best option right now.

You definitely need to talk to a medical center (like Mayo) who can sort through all of your tests, medical records and talk with you to help you find an answer. Does this sound like a good idea to you as well?

I would like to have access to Mayo, but I can't afford it. Is there a quality medical center in Memphis TN? So far, I have been less than impressed from the neurologists in Memphis.
PS: My dad recuperated from his WWII wounds at Mayo. He described it as a modern-day Lourdes! The Mayo staff performed miracles for my dad!
