HI, @rose140.
I'm using Forteo. I'll be starting my 4th year in April.
I'm afraid of the two drugs you were offered and applaud your refusal, even while admitting that if there were no other drugs available I'd still be more afraid of fracturing.
I've always been physically active and have a lingering sense of invulnerability from my long past youth.
I've intensified the weight exercise, use the original Juvent vibration plate, added a rather ridiculous set of jumping exercises.
I keep my D levels at 70. Use k2-7, 2 hours before intake of calcium and/or Forteo injection.
I struggle the most with protein intake, but try to make at least 70grams.
My calcium intake is probably low; 500mg is the most I'm willing to supplement in broken doses.
You might look at strontium. I've never taken it but Kathleen1314 has done extensive research and has kindly made it available on this forum.
Meanwhile I'm going to look at horsetail. I remember a fingernail polish, but maybe that was real horsetail.
Thanks for your post. It is a nice opportunity to see what I'm missing. I'll be scouring your responses.
Meanwhile, best wishes to your bones.
